Gagarin in Britain – British Council

'Gagarin in Britain' coincided with the unveiling of the statue of Uri Gagarin that was donated to the Royal Observatory by the Russian goverment in 2011. Loans from the Russian Space Agency were displayed in conjunction with archive photographs, posters and photographs. The project was curated by Andrea Rose with the involvement of Yelena Gagarina, Uri Gagarin's daughter. Designed in collaboration with Mark Thomson Design.
