Voices from the Deep – Postal Museum

Postal Museum

'Voices from the Deep' at London's new Postal Museum was designed in collaboration with Nick Bell Design. The exhibition presents letters that were discovered in the wreck of the supply ship Gairsoppa sailing from India, that was torpedoed off the coast of Ireland, during WWII. Hidden transcriptions from the never received letters, are revealed to visitors, when they direct ultraviolet torches at concealed text printed in UV reactive paint within the graphic panels. The exhibition was curated by Emma Harper and Sean Kingsley.
